Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on construction equipment and motor vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Deliver equipment and construction materials and supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient equipment operation and maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid state-issued driver's license with good driving record
- Class A CDL with current DOT medical card preferred
- Five years of experience as a mechanic with knowledge of internal combustion engines, DC electrical systems, propane systems, hydraulics, and track and aerial equipment
- Understanding of basic welding techniques
- Ability to operate all types of construction equipment and vehicles
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, at least eight hours per day, five days per week between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- Frequent travel within a 50-mile radius of office to local vendors or projects, 4-5 times per week
- Occasional travel within a 100-mile radius of office
