Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle the export, import, and submission of claims across systems
  • Oversee medical billing collections and conduct follow-up procedures
  • Address insurance denials and correct underpayment discrepancies
  • Conduct thorough reviews of medical claims for accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and resolve obstacles to claim resolution
  • Maintain precise documentation and perform efficient data entry
  • Confirm patient health insurance benefits

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Follow Up Medical Biller is essential
  • Understanding of CPT and ICD-10 codes is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience using EMR systems such as Epic/Navinet is preferred
