We are looking for a seasoned Bridge Inspection Engineer to join our team in Denver, CO. As a key member of our Mountain Pacific Regional senior staff, you will play a critical role in business development and winning bridge and tunnel inspection and repair work for CDOT and other transportation agencies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the condition, function, and load-carrying capacity of structures and their individual components.
  • Plan and schedule CDOT bridge inspections in accordance with NBIS and AASHTO standards.
  • Liaison with client field/facility staff and communicate critical condition findings.
  • Lead and manage a team of field inspectors.
  • Enforce safe operations in the field and ensure compliance with QA/QC standards.
  • Develop and review inspection reports and proposals.
  • Collaborate with the Mountain Pacific Region and National Bridge Inspection group on various projects.

About Our Ideal Candidate:

  • You hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in bridge inspection (NBIS) with CDOT and other transportation clients.
  • You possess strong project management and leadership skills.
  • You are physically capable of performing continuous field work.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are able to work independently and lead a team.
