Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine and special inspections of existing bridges and structures to assess their condition and identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient completion of inspections.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Successful completion of one or more FHWA-NHI courses (Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges, Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges, Bridge Inspection Refresher Training).
  • 0 - 4+ years of relevant bridge inspection experience; DOT experience preferred.
