Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Accountant who will take charge of the accounting functions and report directly to the organization's President. This role offers a clear pathway for advancement into management and provides visibility across the entire company.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process month-end journal entries.
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of all financial transactions.
- Generate monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations for all bank accounts.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely and accurate intercompany reconciliations.
- Manage customer invoicing and payment processing.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Assist in resolving billing discrepancies.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all payables and related transactions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and send customer invoices promptly.
- Ensure invoicing accuracy in accordance with agreed-upon terms.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
- Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee benefit administration.
- Maintain employee records in compliance with HR policies.
- Support recruitment efforts, including posting job openings and scheduling interviews.
- Assist in onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing context.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with HR tasks is a plus.
