About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our US Federal Partner Organization (FPO) as a Partner Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing awareness and adoption of AWS services among government agencies and consulting partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a territory within AWS' Federal Partner's Organization with a quota of $25M
  • Direct Solutions Architecture, Partner Program Teams, Lead Generation, and other resources to drive revenue growth
  • Develop AWS revenue through Consulting Partners in both sell-through and sell-to capacities
  • Navigate federal contracting vehicles and procurement patterns
  • Execute strategic sales and business development plans, collaborating with key internal stakeholders
  • Identify and approach prospects, partners, and channels with tailored value propositions
  • Manage sales pipeline and ensure engagement with prospects, partners, and key customers
  • Ensure customer success by providing necessary technical resources and support
  • Guide product development based on customer technical requirements
  • Utilize internal Amazon systems effectively
  • Deliver business reviews to senior management on progress and challenges
  • Negotiate contracts and liaise with the legal/contract teams
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with high-volume engagements
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, urgency, and strong follow-through
