  • Interpret and explain DHS regulations and service programs to clients.
  • Provide supportive counseling and advocacy for clients.
  • Determine quality and effectiveness of services provided and implement new processes and procedures as needed.

  • Plan, develop, and implement case treatment processes.
  • Analyze situations and make decisions using independent judgment.
  • Maintain records and prepare clear, concise reports.
  • Work with various cultural and ethnic groups in a tactful and effective manner.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years' experience working with homeless and/or low-income populations.
  • Specialty in substance abuse and mental health issues.
  • Knowledge of crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution techniques.
