Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Anesthesiologist to join our team at Penn State Health Medical Group in Enola, PA. As a key member of our anesthesia care team, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia, monitoring patients' vital signs, and overseeing patient recovery from anesthesia.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of expertise and attention to detail. You will work closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, other physicians, and dentists to ensure seamless patient care. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation
  • Oversee patient recovery from anesthesia
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • National Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • A valid nursing license in the state of employment
  • BLS certification
