Join Our Team as a Campus Safety Coordinator

We are seeking dedicated individuals to enhance the safety and security of our community. As a Campus Safety Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular patrols on foot, bicycle, or in a security vehicle to monitor the campus.
  • Perform daily inspections of buildings, ensuring all access points are secured and fire alarms are operational.
  • Identify and report any potential hazards or security risks while on patrol.
  • Respond to incidents and complaints, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain communication with the security team and document all activities accurately.

Compensation: This position offers an hourly wage of $19.50, with eligibility for overtime and additional pay differentials for shifts and weekends. A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is available, distributed in increments over the first six months of employment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in written communication for reporting purposes.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.
  • Experience in security or law enforcement.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, typically requiring five 8-hour shifts per week. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as you may be required to cover additional shifts during special events.
