Administrative Assistant Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general administrative support, including word processing, software support, file organization, and maintenance of office equipment.
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Perform general clerical tasks, such as mail processing, interoffice packets, and shipping/receiving support.
  • Maintain a professionally-maintained office environment, including repairs and maintenance of building and office equipment.
  • Supervise service providers, including janitorial, lawn, snow removal, and vending services.
  • Provide word processing support for staff requests, including letters, memos, and short proposals.
  • Support contract booking, including creation of required documents and verification of compliance with area contract booking procedures.
  • Provide administrative support for ongoing programs in the local office and support requests from Area Office Administration.
  • May be responsible for new hire processing, including orientation and introduction to company benefits and processes.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to type a minimum of 45 wpm accurately
  • Computer skills to include: MS Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload accordingly
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
