- Manage the complete parts sales cycle from initiation to completion.
- Engage with customers and team members in a courteous and professional manner.
- Effectively communicate regarding the status of customer parts inquiries.
- Utilize the parts catalog to accurately identify and discuss specific components.
- Handle incoming calls, providing pricing information and assistance to customers.
- Examine body shop estimates to ensure accuracy in parts orders and pricing alignment.
- Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clientele.
- Retrieve and fulfill orders from inventory while conducting regular stock checks for accuracy.
- Alert the parts manager about low stock items or urgent shop supplies.
- Source out-of-stock parts from external suppliers and place emergency orders when necessary.
- Ensure all internal parts requests are accurately billed on service repair orders.
- Process payments from retail customers or obtain necessary credit approvals.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; prior experience in auto parts sales is preferred.
- Willingness to grow in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management abilities.
- Capability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documentation.
- Proficiency in calculating figures such as discounts, commissions, and proportions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
