Mancon Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Procurement Specialist to provide exceptional counter service to city employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with inventory control, data entry, customer service, and occasional vehicle operation to pick up parts.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide quality customer service, including attention to detail, reviewing requisition forms, and answering questions regarding part availability.
- Parts Pick-up: Drive a company vehicle to designated locations to purchase or pick up parts, provide documentation to vendors, and review invoices for accuracy.
- Data Entry: Assist in generating invoices for customer requisitions and entering vendor receiving documents into the inventory system.
- Inventory Management: Assist in performing weekly inventory cycle counts and participating in Wall-to-Wall inventories at site.
- Other Requirements: Follow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenance, provide 24-hour support during emergencies, and assist with inventory research projects as requested.
- 1 year of computer experience
- 24-hour availability
- Valid Driver's License with 2 years of driving experience
- 1 year of experience with auto or heavy-duty truck parts
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license
Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Essential Requirements: Driving, Lifting, Reaching, Sitting, Standing, Stooping, Walking
