**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to join our team at Jobot Consulting. As a key member of our operations, you will provide essential support to our project management and estimating teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the project management team to gather all necessary data for estimates.
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects or services.
  • Conduct regular follow-up calls and emails with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure all materials are ordered and delivered on time.
  • Assist in the preparation of bid packages, conceptual estimates, and budgetary estimates.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and maintaining project files.
  • Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.
  • Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to provide updates on project progress and estimates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and estimating software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience dealing with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, including materials, labor, equipment, and current market trends.
  • Proven administrative skills, including data entry, record keeping, and scheduling.
