At Space Exploration Technologies Corp., we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible in space exploration. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and testing the complex electrical systems that enable our satellite communications technology.
About the Position
This is a unique opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that requires a high level of technical expertise. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll have the freedom to design and develop electrical systems from scratch, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with other talented engineers and scientists to advance our understanding of space exploration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement design solutions for electrical systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, and simulation
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful system integration
- Test and validate electrical designs to ensure reliability and performance
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design, development, and testing of satellite communications systems
- Strong understanding of RF systems, high-speed digital communication, power conversion, and avionics
