Site Reliability Engineer

At SpaceX, we are working towards making this vision a reality. With our innovative approach to space technology, we aim to reduce space transportation costs and enable the colonization of Mars.
We are looking for a talented Sr. Site Reliability Engineer who will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our goal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-performance systems that will support our mission-critical applications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, DevOps, and site reliability engineering. You will be expected to work closely with our engineering teams to ensure that our systems are scalable, reliable, and efficient.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop scalable, high-performance systems using microservices architecture
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
* Develop automation scripts to streamline deployment and management processes
* Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements
* Work on improving the overall efficiency and scalability of our systems
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering
* Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
* Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment tools
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

$160,000 - $220,000 per year
