Build Reliability Engineer Role Overview:

At SpaceX, we are developing technologies to make humanity a multi-planetary species. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability of our spacecraft and launch vehicles. The Build Reliability Engineer will work closely with design engineering and manufacturing teams to create quality plans for flight hardware.

In this position, you will develop and implement Lean test and inspection processes, monitor product success through production ramp-up, and conduct regular build quality reviews. You will also investigate failures in production, test, and flight, identifying and mitigating root causes to reduce risk and improve reliability.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics and 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, and/or design engineering. Preferred skills include knowledge of quality tools such as Lean principles, measurement systems analysis, and statistical process control.

Please note that the salary for this position is estimated at $95,000 - $115,000 per year.
