Job Overview

Crew Builders is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to oversee construction projects from start to finish. This individual will be responsible for planning, designing, constructing, operating, and supervising projects to ensure timely completion, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize construction engineering projects, including project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
  • Manage project teams, including architects, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with project architects, designers, owners, and field personnel.
  • Generate Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals.
  • Perform bid analysis, constructability reviews, and permit processing.
  • Inspect work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Lead project meetings and facilitate communication among team members.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
  • Monitor and track project quality control metrics and activities, providing timely and accurate quality reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
  • 3-5 years' demonstrated expertise in construction projects preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management.
  • Experience in managing and supervising construction teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
