Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Costa Mesa team. As a key member of our Design/Engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of significant projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project meetings to collect and disseminate information
  • Review and resolve technical specifications and drawings
  • Coordinate technical information between the company and the owner
  • Develop work plans and procedures for construction
  • Resolve RFIs, FDCs, and NCRs
  • Schedule and monitor program activity
  • Create bill of materials and review quotations
  • Determine potential conflicts and delays in the construction process
  • Manage subcontractors and change orders
  • Execute additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in construction or engineering
  • Preferred: Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, Professional Engineer License, field experience, and knowledge of Primavera P6 Scheduling Software
