- Reserve Management: Set accurate reserves in accordance with established procedures to minimize financial risk.
- Effective Litigation Oversight: Manage litigation processes to achieve cost-effective resolutions.
- Resolution Expertise: Develop and implement cost-effective claim resolution strategies to maximize client satisfaction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed case files, and prepare comprehensive reports to support decision-making.
- Collaborative Support: Provide expert insights and support to internal teams to drive business growth.
- Efficiency in Process: Process reimbursement requests and manage invoices in a timely and efficient manner.
- Reinsurance Coordination: Identify reinsurance claims and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Engagement Beyond Office: Travel for mediations and trials as required to ensure effective claim resolution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling complex claims, with a proven track record of success.
- Litigation Proficiency: Strong understanding of claims litigation and its implications.
- Coverage Analysis: Ability to assess coverage issues and provide expert recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational skills to manage high-volume workloads and meet deadlines.
- Technical Competence: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, JD qualification a plus.
- Preferred Designations: AIC, SCLA, or CLCS designations advantageous.
