Key Responsibilities:
As an Estimator, you will:
- Analyze project drawings to comprehend the scope of work.
- Conduct precise quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on design phases.
- Collaborate with the Chief Estimator to formulate competitive pricing strategies.
- Engage with subcontractors and pursue bid opportunities.
- Perform thorough evaluations of documents to identify constructability challenges and value engineering prospects.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Certificate, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Have approximately 3 years of estimating experience, preferably within construction management.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of construction costs and principles.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Show strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with estimating software is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
