Ethos Veterinary Health is in search of a dedicated Veterinary Technician with experience in emergency care to enhance our team. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional care to our animal patients. Your duties will encompass assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures, conducting laboratory tests, administering medications, and offering compassionate support to both animals and their owners.

We are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus totaling $2,500. After a successful 90 days of employment, a bonus of $1,000 will be awarded. Following 6 months of successful employment, an additional bonus of $1,500 will be provided. Eligibility for the sign-on bonus requires commencement of employment by a specified date.

At Ethos Veterinary Health, we are committed to delivering the highest quality and most comprehensive care for companion animals, utilizing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment alongside a team of devoted veterinarians and staff. Salary is commensurate with experience and licensure/certification.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and various medical procedures.
- Conduct laboratory tests including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal analysis.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Prepare animals for surgical procedures and monitor their anesthesia.
- Take and develop X-rays.
- Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and address their inquiries.

Qualifications:
- Certified Veterinary Technician or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience in an emergency, critical care, or hospital environment is highly desirable.
- Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques.
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and protocols.

Additional Skills:
- Dog training.
- Kennel management.
- Laboratory testing procedures.
- Aseptic techniques for surgical interventions.
- Animal catheterization techniques.
- X-ray imaging and interpretation.
- Compassionate animal care.

Availability:
Must be able to work one weekend shift per week. We offer competitive compensation based on experience. This is a full-time position with opportunities for advancement within our organization.
