Veterinary Assistant

We are a dynamic, full-service veterinary clinic located in Magnolia, TX, seeking highly qualified and dedicated veterinary assistants to join our team. As a veterinary assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering top-notch medical services.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain and record patient information to maintain accurate medical charts.
- Utilize technical skills to provide blood drawing, catheter placement, dentistry, surgery, pharmacy, and nursing care.
- Ensure patient, client, and associate safety by using safe restraining techniques, following standard protocols, and maintaining clean, sterile, and organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
- Provide client education on preventive care and assist veterinarians in treatment and surgeries.
- Proficiency with Idexx in-house laboratory analyzers.
- Ability to work with small animals in a fast-paced environment with loud noises, strong odors, and emotional situations.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, climb, lift, carry, and move up to 40 pounds.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
