Plumbing Technician

At Heartland Plumbing, we are seeking a skilled Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our plumbing crew, you will assist in providing top-notch residential plumbing services to our customers in Magnolia, TX, and surrounding areas.

• Assist in learning and mastering plumbing techniques, including pipe installation, repairs, and maintenance.
• Develop tool familiarity and learn how to use plumbing tools and equipment effectively and safely.
• Work alongside experienced plumbers to assist in various plumbing tasks, gaining hands-on experience.
• Assist in material handling, organization, and transportation of plumbing materials and supplies.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
• Learn to diagnose and perform basic plumbing repairs under supervision, such as fixing leaks and replacing fixtures.
• Assist in pipe installation, ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and regulations.
• Participate in plumbing system inspections to identify issues and assist in troubleshooting.
• Interact professionally with clients, explaining plumbing issues, and assisting with service requests.
• Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and tasks completed for future reference.
• Be prepared to assist in emergency plumbing situations and provide support to senior plumbers.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete plumbing projects efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring it is free from hazards.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and development by attending training sessions and workshops.
• Develop strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction during service visits.
• Adhere to all local and national plumbing codes and regulations in every project.
• Work diligently to complete plumbing tasks within the estimated time frame while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist in managing plumbing supplies and inventory, ensuring materials are readily available when needed.

• Possession of a valid Plumbing Apprentice License (if applicable in your region)
• Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Certification
• Must hold a valid TX Driver's License
• Successful completion of a background check
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• 1 year of prior experience in a plumbing apprentice role or related field (preferred)
• Must be authorized to work in the US
