Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated Member Services Representative to join our team at our Commerce branch. This role has the opportunity to earn incentive pay and is responsible for ensuring that members are promptly and professionally served by performing a broad variety of member services functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cross-Selling: Provide high-quality member service and reach credit union goals and objectives by cross-selling credit union products and services.
  • Account Management: Open and close membership accounts, and perform loan transactions from processing applications to payout, following Genisys lending procedures and guidelines.
  • Member Support: Ensure that members' requests and questions are promptly resolved whether in person, over the phone, or via other communication methods.
  • Quality Reputation: Maintain and project the Credit Union's quality reputation.
  • Licensing: Obtain appropriate state license to sell loan protection insurances.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Customer service experience preferred, sales experience preferred, and knowledge of lending processes helpful.
  • Skills: Good communication skills, professional appearance, dress, and attitude, good math skills, able to operate related computer applications and basic business equipment, and good typing skills.
