Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishroom Attendant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dishroom, ensuring the efficient operation of our dish machine, and providing exceptional support to our dining room team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, run, and unload the dish machine, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly
  • Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure a sanitary wash cycle
  • Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware, maintaining adequate levels for the dining room and kitchen
  • Keep the dishroom clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Bag and haul dishroom trash to the dumpster at designated times
  • Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
  • Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
  • Clean food preparation and production areas as required
Requirements
  • No previous restaurant experience required; we will provide training
  • Ability to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for extended periods
  • Physical ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods (up to 5 hours)
  • Ability to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks (up to 60 pounds) many times per shift
