At ALH Corporate, we are seeking an experienced Revenue Optimization Strategist to join our team.

Job Description

The Director of Revenue Management reports directly to the Vice President of Revenue Optimization and supports the ALH Corporate portfolio by coordinating daily revenue management tools and processes.

This role is responsible for managing revenue strategies to maximize RevPAR and optimize all ancillary revenue.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to Revenue Analyst/Manager to achieve and exceed KPIs.
  • Organize weekly revenue strategy meetings with hotel teams.
  • Assure revenue strategies are implemented on properties and measure results.
  • Conduct owners/stakeholders meetings on property performance.
  • Analyze and critique hotel performance monthly/quarterly.
  • Utilize revenue tools and reservation systems for multiple brands and other Business Intelligence tools.
  • Analyze data and present information by identifying trends and rolling averages.
  • Monitor and analyze the competition daily to identify selling strategies and market trends.
  • Develop, maintain, update, and store information on approved tools, databases, and systems.
  • Prepare reports to measure performance and strategize for future dates.
Requirements/Prerequisites
  • Hilton, Marriott, Wyndham, IHG, and/or Best Western experience preferred.
  • Familiar with major hotel brands and/or third-party PMS, RMS, CRS systems.
  • Proficiency with analyzing, interpreting, and explaining statistical data, to develop strategies and generate a course of action.
  • Strong mathematical comprehension.
  • Four (4) years or more of analytical experience within revenue management, data management, reservations, or front office operations.
  • Self-directed to achieve all goals required by the position.
  • Self-directed problem solver, able to identify problems, apply resources, measure effect, and follow through to completion.
  • Service-minded, highest level of integrity, friendly, team-oriented.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information discreetly and professionally.
  • Strong detail orientation; ability to set priorities, manage time, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly learn and accurately administer complex processes.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced, and constantly changing environment.
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
