About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care team at Mission Hospital. As a Pulmonary Progressive Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring pulmonary support.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or current enrollment in a BSN program with a completion date within 5 years.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or eligibility for eNLC licensure.
  • Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent.
  • Preferred: National Certification in Progressive Care Nursing or related specialty.
