About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pulmonary Medicine department at Mission Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to individuals with pulmonary conditions, including respiratory therapy, medication management, and education.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent degree.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of hospital nursing experience, preferably in a critical care or pulmonary medicine setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters in Nursing or related field.
  • National Certification in Critical Care or Pulmonary Medicine.
