About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including automobiles, trucks, vans, and forklifts.
  • Utilize leading-edge technology and programs to diagnose and repair complex issues.
  • Work independently with a high degree of autonomy, while also receiving coaching and direction as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records, including vehicle records and pre-trip checklists.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test (if applicable).
  • Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable).
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of gas and diesel repair, hydraulic and air brake systems, and internal combustible engines.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance and adherence to DOT regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience repairing forklifts and working with manufacturing standards.
  • Proficiency with computers and diagnostic tools, including Noregon and Mitchell 1.
  • Driving experience with Class A or B CDL vehicles.
  • Knowledge of heavy-duty equipment repair and maintenance.
