Key Responsibilities- Execute Maintenance Work: Execute assigned maintenance work, including:
- Working with our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to receive and complete work orders
- Understanding technical requirements, standards, and procedures
- Confirming and obtaining all necessary parts, materials, and tools
- Completing assigned tasks to precision maintenance standards
- Updating work orders as necessary
- Enter Follow-up Work Orders: Enter findings and recommendations into the work order system for future follow-up
- Contractor Oversight: Review and contribute to contracted work job plans, provide support to contracted work groups, and ensure safe and complete work execution
- Assist in the development of standard job tasks, including identifying tasking, resources, and materials required
- Communicate with the Planner on all findings and recommendations
- Assist in the investigation and mitigation of failure events through the Root Cause Failure Analysis process
- Identify failure modes and plausible root cause failures
- A minimum of 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Skilled in installing, inspecting, and repairing equipment in heavy manufacturing, including pumps, gearboxes, driveshafts, cylinders, valves, conveyor systems, and more
- Ability to read mechanical prints/drawings, manuals, and diagrams
- Experience in precision maintenance, including dial indicator alignment, is preferred
- Knowledge and experience in machining and metal fabrication is preferred
- A technical diploma or certification is preferred
- Experience in the paper industry is preferred
- A competitive hourly rate, ranging from $25.91 to $32.73, depending on experience, qualifications, and professional certifications
