A&P Technicians opportunity available with STS Technical Services.

Position Overview:

This role involves the maintenance, repair, assembly, and testing of aircraft components in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft mechanical systems.
  • Assess repair or replacement requirements and procure necessary components.
  • Execute repairs, modifications, and rework on assemblies as required.
  • Adhere to approved maintenance protocols and consult technical documentation as needed.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Lead for technical guidance.
  • Review completed tasks and carry out necessary rework.
  • Conduct serviceability assessments on repaired parts.
  • Complete all documentation and submit work for evaluation and inspection.
  • Provide performance metrics and operational data to management.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A&P License is mandatory

Experience:

  • Required: A&P License; 2-5 years of experience with small aircraft; strong knowledge of aircraft systems.
  • Experience in depot-level maintenance, ability to interpret technical data, and proficiency with hand tools.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Capacity to learn and apply new information in the technical domain.
  • Expertise in repairing and troubleshooting equipment.
  • Understanding of FAA regulations regarding aircraft maintenance.
  • Adept at interpreting and understanding technical instructions and inspecting components.
Work Environment:
  • Compliance with safety standards and capability to work with a respirator if necessary.
  • Flexibility in work hours and shifts is essential.
  • Subject to random drug and alcohol testing protocols.
