About Fulfillment

Our Fulfillment team is comprised of experts in operations, process and efficiency who ensure a consistent experience for our guests by delivering convenience and quality. As a Fulfillment Expert, you will be responsible for picking, prepping, packing, sorting and shipping products safely, efficiently and effectively to meet digital demand.

Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
  • Observe and respond to guest needs, using body language and verbal cues to tailor your approach
  • Engage with guests in a genuine way, asking questions to better understand their specific needs
  • Be knowledgeable about tools, products and services available in the store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
  • Thank guests in a genuine way and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target
  • Select items for order pickup, drive up and ship to home for digital guest orders
  • Accurately put on hold all order pickup and drive up orders
  • Properly prepare, pack and sort guest orders for shipment using correct materials
  • Meet productivity metrics and other fulfillment goals
  • Meet guest order promise times to deliver on the guest demand
  • Own your workspace and supplies; keep equipment and designated areas organized and supplies in stock
  • Properly use equipment while following safety best practices
  • Follow all safety guidelines, operating procedures, product freshness and quality standards; follow food safety guidelines when handling, displaying and/or storing food items
  • Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • Work in a safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others; identify and correct hazards; comply with all safety policies and best practices
  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws
  • All other duties based on business needs
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
  • Learn and adapt to current technology needs
  • Work both independently and with a team
  • Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
  • Attention to detail and follow a multi-step process
