Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stock discrepancies.
- Order Fulfillment: Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to notify them of low inventory levels and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Material Handling: Safely move materials throughout the warehouse, using equipment such as forklifts as needed.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately complete paperwork, including Bills of Lading and Inventory Count Sheets, and log data into computer systems.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety policies and regulations.
- Experience: 2-3 years of previous warehouse and inventory control experience, preferably in the building materials industry.
- Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, vendors, and customers; experience with forklift operation; and strong attention to detail.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
