Key Responsibilities- Analyze current and future Intellectual Property (IP) landscapes to identify trends and opportunities.
- Perform trade-off analysis to enhance the application of IPs in microelectronics research.
- Conduct research and analysis of core IP products using simulation tools to optimize their performance.
- Test and evaluate physical characterization of IPs, including performance, emanation, acoustical, optical, and thermal properties.
- Run simulations of Integrated Circuits (ICs) within specified hardware platforms to verify their functionality.
- Integrate and run simulations to validate the performance, power, security, and trust of ICs.
- Perform application-specific emulations to ensure the reliability and efficiency of microelectronics systems.
- Develop recommended algorithms and capabilities to implement algorithms for accelerator architecture.
- Conduct research on microelectronic, Analog Mixed Signal (AMS), PCB, and RF technologies to identify niche areas and emerging architectures.
- Research trends in digital system design involving ASICs, FPGAs, and COTS components.
- Develop test plans and procedures for characterization, validation, and verification of microelectronics components.
- Test evaluation and characterization engineering to contribute to overall assurance of microelectronics through data artifacts.
- 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 7 years with a Master's degree; 4 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate.
- Active DoD Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance.
