Child Speech Development Specialist

We're seeking a dedicated Child Speech Development Specialist to collaborate with our licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) team. This role involves supporting patients suffering from speech impediments, including stutters and hearing impairments. Our focus is on pre-school and school-aged children; experience in pediatrics, early childhood intervention, behavior analysis, or human development is highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct screenings to identify potential speech impairments and assist in creating effective treatment plans.
- Work under the supervision of an SLP to provide therapy sessions for children, utilizing evidence-based methods to promote speech development.
- Accurately document patient progress, maintaining comprehensive records and communicating effectively with the SLP.
- Assist the SLP in various administrative duties, ensuring seamless office operations.
- An associate degree from an accredited SLPA program or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience working with children in a therapy setting, preferably in a pediatric environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in office software applications.
