Job Summary

The Patient Financial Services Specialist is an entry-level position that provides administrative support to the Billing and Reimbursement departments at Revo Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Customer Service: Ensure professional communication with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing inquiries and issues.
  • Financial Analysis and Processing: Maintain a working knowledge of healthcare plan requirements and health plan networks to accurately process and post payments.
  • Document Management: Scan and fax documents for the Billing and Reimbursement departments, and process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Insurance and Patient Payment Processing: Process and manage patient accounts to ensure accurate payment posting and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Additional Functions: Make outbound calls to patients to follow up on unpaid or denied claims, retrieve and distribute medical records, and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School diploma/GED or equivalent, with administrative experience and accounting/cash drawer balancing experience preferred.
  • Essential Requirements: Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and business ethics guidelines, complete job-required training, and demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance.
Work Environment

The Patient Financial Services Specialist will work in an office setting, with frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping, or sitting for long periods of time. The position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and travel to other work locations as needed.
