KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FINANCIAL CONTROLLER:

  • Oversee the monthly financial closing processes, including preparing accrual entries, processing monthly requisitions, reconciling ledger accounts, and generating internal financial reports.
  • Guide and develop the accounting team.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to streamline the annual audit process.
  • Manage the preparation of monthly bank and investment reconciliations.
  • Compile financial statements for year-end audits.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiencies and automation.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax reporting obligations on a regular basis.
  • Assist with additional ad-hoc projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS FINANCIAL CONTROLLER ROLE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA designation is advantageous.
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and procedures, including US GAAP.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Excel.
