Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Staff to join our team at the Department of the Navy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing diverse programs in support of HQMC and Marine Corps commands in the National Capital Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly support the Commanding Officer as the primary integrator of civilian managed support
  • Oversee the operation of the Smith Gym, Zembiec Training Tank, and Marine Corps Exchange services
  • Formulate and recommend plans to improve program policies, practices, methods, and organizational structure
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on broad projects and programs with impacts across Headquarters Marine Corps
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment

Qualifications

Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
