Job Title: LPN School Nurse Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated LPN to join our team as a School Nurse. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and be able to provide excellent patient care in a school setting.

Job Summary:

The LPN School Nurse will be responsible for providing health services to students, including administering medication, performing health assessments, and providing guidance on health-related issues. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the health and well-being of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide health services to students, including administering medication and performing health assessments
  • Develop and implement health education programs for students and staff
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure students receive necessary health services
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for students
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other school staff to ensure students receive necessary health services
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Practical Nursing or equivalent education/training
  • Valid State of Georgia Practical Nurse license
  • Valid certificates in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid
  • Minimum of one (1) year practical nursing or closely related experience
