Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for designated patients
  • Maintain the SANE Program, ensuring quality and continuity of care delivery
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve awareness, access, and response for trauma events
  • Provide education and training to staff on SANE Program protocols and procedures
  • Conduct quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Working knowledge of forensics, crime lab procedures, emergency medical terminology, and procedures
  • Working knowledge of child welfare reporting requirements, law enforcement, and judicial proceedings, and victim advocacy
  • Minimum one-year Emergency Department experience as a staff nurse or ICU experience as a staff nurse (if assigned to Free-standing Emergency Departments)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in nursing
