Job Description

BioPhase Solutions is a leading recruiter of top professionals for Southern California's Scientific community. We are currently looking for a Chief Facilities Management Coordinator to work for a prominent Greater Los Angeles area biotechnology company.

Pay Range: $35-45/hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Compliance and Safety: Adhere to GMP procedures, maintaining a safe work environment through diligent monitoring and adherence to protocols.
  • CMMS Expertise: Primary System Administrator for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Blue Mountain preferred), responsible for inputting and deleting new equipment records, processing corrective, preventive maintenance, and calibration work orders.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Generate automatic scheduling, provide required management and regulatory reports, sustain equipment files and work history files, and execute the Facilities Change Control Program.
  • Purchasing and Inventory Management: Maintain GMP equipment history, manage parts inventory, understand storeroom inventories, min/max levels, and prioritize ordering.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Schedule and plan with vendors and contractors, meet with department leaders to discuss PMs and Calibrations, and negotiate best rates for service agreements.
Requirements:
  • At least 7+ years of working experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Blue Mountain preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience/training
  • GMP facility experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills required
  • Able to multitask, exercise good judgment, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Detailed oriented with good follow-up skills, proficient in standard business software, and able to travel between different sites
