Position Overview: The role of Machine Operator II involves crucial responsibilities in the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency and quality in production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare machinery for production by setting up tools and parameters based on work instructions.
- Monitor production status throughout each sequence and address any discrepancies.
- Execute operations while managing machine processes, adhering to established protocols.
- Conduct inspections of produced components, identifying and discarding any defective items in accordance with procedures.
- Assist maintenance teams in machine repairs, preventive measures, and inspections to minimize downtime.
- Comply with all safety regulations and production guidelines, ensuring the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in following written and verbal instructions, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience operating moderately complex machinery in a manufacturing setting.
- Capability to lift medium to heavy objects as necessary.
- Authorization to work in the US without the need for employment visa or sponsorship.
Preferred:
- At least one year of experience in machine operation within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with power tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprints.
