Job Summary

We are seeking a Per Diem Acute Care Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at UW Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to the acute hospital in the domains of speech, language, and cognition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to patients in the acute hospital setting.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Participate in patient- and family-centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center.
  • Seek opportunities for professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Masters level degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
  • Completion of Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship.
  • Wisconsin state license (or eligible) to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
