We are seeking a highly skilled Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at UW Health. As a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide consultative and developmentally appropriate habilitative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex pediatric patients in the acute care, inpatient rehab, and NICU settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive treatment services to pediatric patients, including swallow, speech, language, and cognition assessments and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive patient and family treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations to ensure that treatment plans are effective and meet the changing needs of patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
  • Wisconsin state license (or eligible) to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a medical setting as a Speech Language Pathologist.
