Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority. As a Per Diem SLP, you will provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to the acute hospital in the domains of speech, language, and cognition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Seek continual learning opportunities to advance your practice and educate others.
Requirements:
  • Masters level degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
  • Completion of Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship.
  • Wisconsin state license (or eligible) to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC - SLP).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.
