Job Title: Shift Supervisor

AutoZone is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of AutoZoners to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in leading company initiatives and ensuring maximum productivity.
  • Train and develop store personnel to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Assume responsibility for the store operation and commercial department in the absence of the Store Manager and Commercial Sales Manager.
  • Manage the Commercial and Hub Departments to ensure commercial accounts and stores are serviced and deliveries are made as promised.
  • Delegate and ensure store merchandising tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling duties.
  • Ensure all company policies and loss prevention procedures are followed.
  • Utilize ZNET to help customers locate merchandise or find suitable alternatives.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure AutoZoners are implementing safety practices.
  • Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security control.
  • Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards.
  • Conduct and review all opening and closing procedures.
  • Manage emergency situations and conduct proper emergency procedures.
  • Follow proper accident procedures.
  • Provide feedback regarding AutoZoner performance to the Store Manager.
  • Assist with monitoring and managing all activities related to Risk & Safety Management to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve them with a goal of turning a complaint into a compliment.
  • Process returns and effectively manage inventory.
  • Communicate AutoZoner issues and concerns to the Store Manager in a timely and confidential manner.
  • Motivate AutoZoners to provide WOW Customer Service, enhance productivity level, and market products to enhance sales and profits.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • ASE Certified preferred.
  • Demonstrates high level of integrity.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to drive customer service.
