Sales Manager - SMERF Market

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to maximize revenue and increase market share within the SMERF market segment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including social groups, military organizations, educational institutions, religious groups, and fraternal organizations
* Create and execute effective sales strategies, including targeted marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales events, to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
* Collaborate with the revenue management team to adjust pricing and inventory as needed
* Track and report on sales performance, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue
* Use data and insights to refine strategies and improve sales effectiveness

**Requirements:**

* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in the SMERF market segment or a related field
* Sales experience in the hospitality industry is required
* Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred
* Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce software
* Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for achieving sales targets
