About the Role

In this role, you will provide support to the Principal Policy Officer in Urban Planning. You will engage closely with key stakeholders from both government and industry sectors. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the formulation and evaluation of our policies, strategies, and guidelines related to bushfire management and urban planning.

Collaboration is key; you will work alongside various teams within our organization and with external partners to steer the agency towards achieving optimal outcomes for the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and review of policies and strategies.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the agency's direction in land use planning.

Employment Conditions

As part of an emergency services organization, employees may be required to work or travel outside of standard business hours to respond to emergencies.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be Australian Citizens or hold permanent residency. A current National Police Certificate is required prior to commencement.
