We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at Lambert's Cable Splicing Company, LLC. As a Laborer, you will play a critical role in the installation and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of tasks in all phases of underground construction, including loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of construction materials and equipment.
  • Hand dig using shovels and mechanical tools.
  • Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling.
  • Climb in and out of equipment, such as trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.
  • Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Work in congested or remote areas.
  • Direct traffic flow in accordance with local DOT guidelines.
  • Perform general construction work under the direction of a Foreperson or Operator.
  • Maintain safe working habits and conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies.
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States for this company.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Be willing to work in a solo and team environment.
  • Have experience working in all types of weather, including inclement weather.
  • Be a self-starter.
  • Have effective communication skills.
  • Be able to travel and work extended hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Be able to lift, climb, and carry ladders with a weight of up to 80lbs.
