Job Summary

The UGE Laborer/Groundman is a key member of our construction team, responsible for preparing and cleaning construction sites, loading and unloading building materials, operating equipment and machines, and assisting skilled tradesmen with their duties.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and potential hazards.
  • Assist skilled tradesmen in completing their tasks more effectively.
  • Identify utilities and monitor dig crews to prevent utility hits.
  • Clean and maintain equipment.
  • Restock trucks with supplies to ensure crews have the necessary tools and materials to complete the job.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience and CDL Class A driver's license.
Work Environment

This role operates in a field environment, requiring extended periods of physical activity, including bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and working in inclement weather conditions.

The physical demands of this job require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, have clarity of vision at 20 feet or more, and precise hand-eye coordination.
